Handmade Fittings
I'm glad to introduce you the fitting
models developed during the last years.
My
fitting models are based on those traditionally attributed to the most
important violin making centers. Ebony, fruit woods or boxwood are mostly
used, but sets can be made in exotic, rare or local woods. You can even
provide the piece of wood from which you want your fittings to be made of.
Making
the fittings by hand doesn’t only give the best finish and quality. Every
piece of wood is worked to get the best of it (no run out). I’m also able
to change any dimension to suit your needs, whether it’s for a particular
restoration or for aesthetic reasons. I can even make a replacement copy
for a broken peg.
I hope these fittings will emphasize
the quality and the aesthetic beauty of your instruments.
